Update from Marty Halmazna

Post by DIRTTV »

The following I have received from Marty.

"It's pissing rain, ok short and quick the rv is a sh*t box and getting my
bike was sh*t too, but I am here and making great contacts. I will be on the updated erzberg web site starting tomorrow. I have a interview tonight. I am #31 on the ktm starters list. David Knight is #1 and Jeremy Mcgrath is #19. yahoo! pass the word on please, will try to keep in contact. Marty"

hey there.please send this e-mail to our friends,i'm getting lots of the e-mails sent back to me.
WOW first dayProlog.I was pinned, need to do better in the corners, but the straight aways i was giv'en er.I didn't catch anyone ,but I also didn't get caught.Kris rosenberger was watching me and he thinks i did well.So after i got to the top i shared a red bull with Mcgrath and Pastrana and Andy bell and ronnie renner COOL.then they Invaded me to go with them on a top secret ride.so we went a did some hill climbs and yes i out climbed them all.now travis and Jeremy are only on 250s so i out powered them, but still.Travis and Jeremy were checking out some crays down hills and did them,Yes and me to only.I think i may have impressed them. Jeremy is a good woods rider. me and him were leading the pack at one point and we pulled from everyone.while we were waiting for the others we chated.good guy. Last night i didn't want to drink that much ,but Roonie made me,he also head butted me twice during the evening.I've met lots of the Factory Mechanics now and they are treating me better and we shared storys.they say that if i finish on sunday on my 525 then i'm the man! oh no! maybe a 300 would have been better.Oh well I'll show them.
talk to you soon.Marty

Reading prelim results

Post by my450 »

I just checked in on the official website and can't see the 4-stroke prologue results. What was interesting is that it looked liked David Knight and a lot of the fast Euro's were riding big bore modified adventure bikes. There's a handful!!
Ok, NOW I'm hurt.

Thanks for the write-ups! It's pretty exciting that a guy from around here is right up there in ability with the best in the world!
... AND that they recognize it!!

Way to go Marty!

darren,

You can't use firefox to view the results in the web viewer. Use IE or open the pdf document at the top of the page using firefox.

Here is the PDF.
