X-Ring vs 0-Ring?
X-Ring vs 0-Ring?
I am looking to replace my chain/sprocket this season, any thoughts on X-ring vs O-ring for the chain?

Re: X-Ring vs 0-Ring?
Both do the job but the X-ring is supposed to do it with less friction. I normally use the X-ring and the chain can last longer than the rear sprocket and 3 fronts.

Perfect thanks...seem to be what I am seeing on line with other reviews as well.dirtyboy wrote:Both do the job but the X-ring is supposed to do it with less friction. I normally use the X-ring and the chain can last longer than the rear sprocket and 3 fronts.

Re: X-Ring vs 0-Ring?
For the small $ extra, I always go X-ring. Most OEM are an x ring now too.
I prefer to ride my bike not push it, so I also do my chains and sprockets generally earlier than my buddies, no failures on mine yet but the buddies have had a couple, and that makes for a sucky day (and potentially night) for all.
I go name brand but a bud uses primary drive a lot. Probably all made by the same child laborers anyhow.

X Ring with rivet link ftw!

X-Ring it is.....now I can blame someone else for my 'lack' of riding ability!!!
