These look pretty sweet too:
These are from the European site, not sure if we will get the same models per se. Looks like the 450 EXC is a single cam engine while the Six Days model is a twin cam engine.
Here's a key spec on the 450 EXC: Carburetor: Keihin EFI, flow restrictor 42 mm

Nice. And this gives me hope that I will soon have those rear fender pieces for the lights to fit the 2011 new chassis. STOKED.

Re: For the KTM Boys
The KTM USA and Canadian sites have the new 2012 SX machines there. Linkage on all models!
Re: For the KTM Boys
I hope they don't go with linkage on the XC two strokes. It's just some else to maintain and get caught while climbing over logs.

Holy cr*p! List price on the Six Days 300 is 9,200 euros - that's almost $14,000 CAD! Lucky they don't charge that much for them here!cedric wrote:Looks like no linkage on the offroad 2Ts:

Re: For the KTM Boys
Cedric, that's the European EXC bike which some say are closer to the XCW. Rumour mill is saying XC will have linkage also. Dirt Rider had that this month but only a picture of the SX.
Re: For the KTM Boys
True DB, the Euro 350 EXC on that site does not have a linkage, while the North American 350 XC does. So who know, it's all just speculation at this point I guess. I also heard a rumor that the Husaberg 2Ts will land in Canada next year. Can anybody confirm/deny that?
Re: For the KTM Boys
I have owned bikes with linkage, and bikes without (ie ktm's). In my experience the linkage is less maintanence.
Also, the linkage will only catch on rocks and logs if the center connection ( between the wishbone arms where the shock attaches) protrudes below the wishbone arms. A close look at the different designs availabe will clearly show that some linkage systems will catach while other will not. My Husky would catch on logs and rocks, but my Gasgas does not.
Thanks for posting Cedric! Those bikes look good.

I think Zeal means he doesn't like changing the Heim joint.

It's not a big deal 37, no harder than changing wheel bearings, costs about $40. I have cobbled up some tools to make it easier, let me know when you need 'em.
