Name Change Request

Post by RJHenry »

Hello Admin!

May I please request an adjustment to my forum name? I originally entered what I would usually use as a login, not realizing it would be my "identity" forever...

If possible, please change me to "RJH" in ALL CAPS (because that's what everyone calls me).

Thanks for your help!

RJH is too short. The system will not accept names that short.

OK, now I see the problem.

How about lovely compromise:

RJHenry

Does that work?

I'll be mean and answer for Dirtyboy. No, he's got a job and family and if he starts changing everyone's names, he'll go insane, especially just for some caps.

OK, you got me. That was a lame request. This is my last try, I promise... how about:

RJH450X

I solemnly swear I won't ever impose on the admin team again. I am red blooded to the core, so won't switch bikes, or last name, or middle name, or anything else.

Maybe when honda puts FI on a 450X, I will upgrade. Worst case is Honda makes a 350X.. but I will then bribe the admin with beer of choice if a change is necessary. Come to think of it, I will bribe the admin this time if that helps ;-)

Again, thanks!

Best to keep the name you have. It has happened many times where a user bases their name off their current bike, and years later they have to live with the embarassment of of not owning the brand that their screen name reflects. You may think you'll never not have a Honda 450, but just wait till the new Wizzy Whatever 250 Extra Awesome comes along next year...

Sounds like RJHanything will be satisfactory indicating that there is no important motivation to change. Let's leave it as is.

Case closed.

I recently met RJHenry and he and his family are getting more active in the sport. He impressed me with his attitude and I think he might even volunteer to help us out. So I've renamed his account RJHenry so that the RJH part will stand out.
