Never use Internet Explorer. Only use it to download chrome or Firefox.

Get an ad blocker or pop-up blocker for chrome and Firefox.
Get a Java blocker and flash blocker.

Never store passwords on your computer. Ever.

You are most likely compromised if you use Internet Explorer.

Run spybot and a damage.

Common practice to have a safe uncompromising pc is to run a fresh install and format every 6 months.

That analytics.js is a javascript file that as part of the user counter at the bottom of the page.

It has been there since 2004 but it's only in the last while that IE has started flagging this type of thing. I put in a service request at sitemeter and will follow-up when I know more.

This is pretty widespread issue that looks like it started last week. Search for the error and you will find a lot of people talking about it. I doubt it is a virus or malicious.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

I didn't get any explanation about it from sitemeter but it appears to be fixed today.
