October 7, 2010 Monthly Meeting

Post by dirtyboy »

The meeting is at the regular location (check home or meetings link above for full details).

An email went out that stated we were showing a NOHVCC video this meeting. This is incorrect.

We will be having a demonstration and technical information. We will have a 2011 KTM 300XC at the meeting to show the technical stuff on.

There is an important safety issue with the KTM 2 Stroke throttle cable that we will be discussing and showing a technique to re-mediate this issue. We will also discuss all other throttle cable configurations and adjustments. This will be interactive so if you have questions, they will be answered.

Additionally, we will show how a cheap brake snake can be fabricated and installed to protect that expensive rear brake pedal.

No Video cameras!

Cladoo, anytime you want to perform a demo for the club, you are more than welcome to do so. I don't care what color of bike, but given the time constraint of our meetings we may not want to bring something easy to work on. ( i hear it takes 8 bolts to get to the air filter of one brand...)

Boy can't you guys take a joke? My GG only needs one bolt to get at the air filter.

Haha :crybaby: ... can't blame the bike for that one SteveO.

I could bring a GG to a meeting if people wanted to behold awesomeness in the flesh.

Humm, maybe Brent will bring his blinged out nambotin.

Cladoo can always use my XR200 as an example on what not to do to your bike, and what to look for when buying used but I think you guys already know that :nopity:
