Due to the low usage on the site on weekends I took the opportunity to get the maintenance done that I have been working on. It took a little longer than I thought (there are a lot of attachments here). I hope it works well for everyone.
Newly registered users will require their first post to be approved by a moderator before it is visible to all users. Spammers register and then post one or more topics advertising their wares. This will stop the opportunistic spammer.
The approval process could take 24 hours or longer, so new users, plan accordingly.
