Board-wide Policies

This board's intention is to provide a safe place for off road motorcycle oriented individuals to discuss any topic that is not objectionable (mentioned below). Feel free to provide feedback to the site administrator in the "Admin" forum.

This document is designed to clarify various responsibilities of community members here at Rocky Mountain Dirt Riders. Please read, it's terms are retroactive and agreed by team and group members.

Forum rules
  • 1. Posts are to be made in the relevant forum. Users are asked to read the forum descriptions before posting. Users consistently posting to the wrong forum may be given a warning.
    2. Users should post in a way that is respectful of other users. Flaming or abusing users in any way will not be tolerated and will lead to a warning.
    3. Members are asked to not act as “back seat moderators”. This includes complaints about riding in non-designated areas. If members note an issue which contravenes something in this policy document they are welcome to bring it to the attention of a member of the Moderator Team. Please use the “post report” feature to report posts. Do not respond to such topics yourself. Members who constantly “act” as moderators may be warned. The posts may also be deleted as determined by the moderator team.
    4. Users should not post for the purpose of promoting other affiliations / groups or their agendas, or products including hyperlinks unless approved by the current RMDRA executive in writing. Product reviews or recommendations for products that the members are not affiliated with are acceptable. Spam is not tolerated here except if it is acceptable in the relevant forum. Any posts fitting these descriptions will be deleted and the user may be warned.
    5. Complete Classified and For Sale rules are listed separately. Use of the forum and it's classified sections at your own risk, RMDRA, this forum, or it's associates are not responsible. Link

    7. The moderating, support and other teams reserve the right to edit or remove any post at any time. The determination of what is construed as indecent, vulgar, spam, etc. as noted in these points is up to Team Members and not users.
    8. The posting of graphics and links to graphics is allowed, however video, pictures (and text) that do not depict the sport positively, depict scarring of the land/nature or depict illegal activities will be removed because the RMDRA desires to educate positively so that all users learn to respect nature, their machines, and other riders. Users will also be warned about such posts. Additionally, when posting pictures please ensure that the pictures are reasonably sized (not too large) for casual viewing and that the media is not copyright protected.
