Forum style
The forum's current style is called prosilver and is successfully used by many users on mobile devices without issue and this will continue. However, the current style could be better optimized for mobile devices with diverse and smaller screen resolutions.
I have installed a second style as trial because it is better optimized for mobile devices. This new style called Deluxe can be accessed by any user. The Deluxe style may be only temporary or it may stick around for a while. The expectation is that the when the forum software is updated in the future it will include this mobile optimization in the standard prosilver style so Deluxe may not be needed and be deleted.
If you want to try the Deluxe style you can in your "User Control Panel" under "Board Preferences". Just select Deluxe and submit the changes. If you don't like it, you may change back to prosilver at any time.
I like the Deluxe style myself but it has not been fully tested on a variety of devices so your mileage may vary.
Remember Deluxe is a trial and may be discontinued without notice based on how I feel it works out.
I thought maybe it might be fun to have a poll on this. So if you want to provide feedback on the styles vote for your favorite.
I have enabled users to be able to change their vote.

Re: Forum style
I tried the deluxe style and I like it for sure. The 'layout' of the forum buttons are uber.
Also love the look and the feel of the old prosilver, too. It makes it feel like home.

Re: Forum style
Digging deluxe, I have been having a problem with always hitting the thread starters name instead of thread title with the old style.

I'm giving deluxe a try on iPad. Works fine, don't really notice any differences other than the look.
Can we try Gangnam style next?

Re: Forum style
Guess I like things traditional. I prefer the look of prosilver.
That said, I think the buttons in deluxe are easier to navagate on my iphone.

Re: Forum style
It's an annual membership for a calendar year. You can buy it anytime after October for the 2014 year. You could have had a few extra months if you renewed in October.NoPlan wrote:Just noticed I need to renew my membership, I bought it in March hehe rooked a few months I see!! that's ok ya'll are worth it.

I like the new style DirtyBoy, looks more like geek forums I should be looking at while at work Did we recently lose a link to the PM messagebox that used to be on the top of the forum, or is it just me?

Re: Forum style
It's kinda hidden under "User Control Panel" .... That's my one criticism of Deluxe but when you look at it on a phone, you can see why they did it that way. But it is tougher to get to. The other weird thing is it defaults to compose a PM instead of Inbox.cedric wrote:I like the new style DirtyBoy, looks more like geek forums I should be looking at while at work Did we recently lose a link to the PM messagebox that used to be on the top of the forum, or is it just me?
Re: Forum style
I've found the PM's in deluxe mode somewhat......un-responsive.
