Was at the one in Okotoks tonight and had a good chat with Roger Meyer. It is more of an informational thing. Please everyone go to http://www.landuse.alberta.ca/ and complete the South Saskatchewan Regional Plan Feedback Document before Jan 15,2010.

Was at the cochrane one and reiterate everything Claude says. We share this land and need to complete the survey so our relitively small voice is heard. On a positive note, every one I talked to new of the RMDRA and had a favourable view of it! Keep up the good work all, and let's get more folks into the group.

Is it a drop in type of session, or more of a formal schedule from 4-7? I want to try to get there, but have a commitment at 6:30 (puppy school )

Re: South Alberta LUF - Open Houses
Just dropin roam around and ask q. They asses the conversations they have had at the end of the eve.
Also, I ranted abit about clearcutting and was told this, the pine we have here needs the sun, so in a pine stand all the trees are removed to allow the next generation of pine to grow. Also all the "garbage" left behind accomplishes a couple things, firstly it helps keep the snowfall from being blown off the area and secondly a company like spraylakes can leave all the cones etc to regenerate naturally. I had to appologize to the srd guy for sounding like a raveing enviro, and thanked him for the info, good stuff all-in-all.

make sure it's not 'clicker training' All that does is train your dog to listen to a clicker!MtnBlue wrote:Is it a drop in type of session, or more of a formal schedule from 4-7? I want to try to get there, but have a commitment at 6:30 (puppy school )
