Koocanusa tickets & warnings issued in 2009

Post by 2NDGEAR2 »

Siggi just spoke with BCORMA (BC equivalent of the AOHVA) as well Scott Randell (Sparwood club) and there is a meeting Monday, Jun.8th with the Deputy Minister. You need to send them all copies of tickets and detailed information on why you were issued the ticket OR warning. The Second Gear Club is helping out the Sparwood club any way we can and told them we would forward any ticket information down to them. You can forward your info to fax: 403-398-0697 or email: info@secondgearclub.com. We need to fight this. In speaking with the BCORMA, we ARE allowed to ride on any BC crown land (existing trails) and NOT allowed to ride on public roads. Obviously there may be sensitive areas like hill climbs and obvious errossion issues. Let's fight this! Pass the word! Koocanusa is a wonderful area to ride. One of the best for novice riders and first timers! Great family area! Definitely worth fighting for!!!!!
