It always great to see a new trail added in Ghost!

Are we to expect Husky Energy to create the rest of the trails for us?
Again this is another case of the general public getting shafted but industry getting what it wants. If that trail is OK to use, why did that area get shut down in the first place? Why did it take Husky Energy to get the SRD to put it on their map?

I'd be curious to know if any of the OHV groups where consulted regarding this trail? Is there some progam in place to get other Trails added to ghost or can only the big Oil companies add new trails?

Sorry to be so negative but it's time this government was accountable to "US" the general public for the things that impact us. This is not Ted Morton's land to do with as he wishes..

I want to know what process Husky went through to open up this trail so we can do the same!!!

Exactly! I wonder if this went through the Ghost Stewardship Committee?

Thumper-darryl - in your opinion, is the "process" Husky went through that resulted in the "new trail" repeatable by a non oil&gas organization?

Any idea where we would start to find the person at Husky who worked with SRD on the related "trail"?

Thanks.

That's the frustrating part. The back doors seem to open up easier and wider, if you can find them and get them to answer the doorbell. IMO, you need some major cashola for the back door bouncer. :D

I will flush out a contact and let you at them Doug. My suspicion is that they applied for an LOC to access the PIL and cancelled the old LOC that was identified as the old quad trail on the map. LOC's are open for public access, just like the Transalta road. I will line you up.
