ABProject.org Update

Post by Amanda »

Hello everyone,

The team at ABProjects.org wanted to give everyone a little update on the progress that the website has seen in its first couple months of operation.

We are happy to see such an interest in the website, since September 2007 we have received over 3800 hits!
Thank you to everyone who sent in ideas and feedback.

We have seen an increase in volunteers as well as volunteer opportunities. Over 20 projects have been tracked and recorded – including club and individual cooperation, man hours used and total funds spent. 19 projects have been successfully completed and one is still in progress in Camp Chamisol - Waiparous.

Various clubs, groups and organizations have been a great help in getting these projects off the ground, and without volunteers we would not be here.

We would like to thank the following:

Alberta Sustainable Resources Development
Calgary Jeep Association
Calgary Quad Squad
Second Gear Club
Alberta Tourism, Parks, Recreation and Culture
Rocky Mountain Dirt Riders
Four Wheel Stampeders
Elbow River Watershed Partnership
Spray Lakes
Golden Associates
Rocky Mountain Land Cruisers Association
Alberta United Recreationists Society
The Willow Creek Stock Association
Evolution Machining and Fabrication

Of course there are always independent users that come out and help. We can never forget them!
Thank you to you, your family members and your friends.
