Last time I was at McLean on May long (5-6 years ago, maybe more) this was the case. Don't think any RCMP, CO's, Wildlife, or even any government fire guys had the weekend off. Trucks with lights on the roof everywhere
Huge checkstop "party bus" at the entrance to Kananaskis.
Kept the yahoo's in check
Did they stop this practice? Or are they just trying to look different doing exactly what they always do with their press release?
Did I notice a lot more "no fire or camping" signs this spring?
Oh, and only saw like 4 people on the singletrack that day
