Getting excited, but normally I wait till December to ride. November can be control arm disaster.

I was looking at the oil at CDN tire. It's like 65$/4liters! When I started snowmobiling (which wasn't that long ago) it was 27$. On sale for 20-22$. Brutal.

I'm stoked to get back country boarding though! Last year I didn't get out because... well I didn't see much of winter being in Latin America, then when I came back the first day sledding I tore my MCL which ended my winter activities.

Shell full synthetic sled oil goes on sale at Canadian Tire every fall for 30-35bucks for 4L jug. Ran it in my 09 since break-in.

On another note.....soooo pumped for the snow to get here and stay!

I spent all weekend wrenching on sleds instead of riding the bike. *sigh* well managed 20 or so hours on the bike after picking it up mid summer.

Hopefully 50+ days of sledding ahead for the winter!

Take the winter off? I wish! If I could take the winter off I would have 125-150 days of riding !!!

I may have put this onhere somewhere a few years ago, but here's some stoke for winter coming. Coincidentally I heard a rumour about a sled or two in the classifieds.

I did 5, and on the first I tore my MCL badly, and the following 4 was just going to the cabin and back while my buddies rode (we were on a trip).

Followed by 2 months of hobbling around. Previous to that I was in sunny places for 4 months. Still saw snow though at 11,000 Ft.

I'm hoping to get out and do a lot of sledding and boarding this year though. Should probably start working that knee...

I'm going to have to keep an eye out for that! 65 is downright ridiculous. 35 is much better, but still expensive considering it used to be 22. The Shell Full Syn is the one I was talking about. Been running it since I bought my sled too.
