Honda 450x and Crashing

Last year I had put my rear brake arm into clutch case punching a hole in it causing the oil puke out. They weren’t big crashes as well. Never experienced this problem before on any other bikes. I know stop crashing. I was wondering has anyone else had this same problem or is just me, and is there a guard that you buy to help stop this?
