Het Dave,

I don't have an answer to your question, however, I'm glad to hear you're thinkin of hopping onto a two stroke. Talk to Dean and Denis, I'm sure that they'll vouch for the conversion as well.

Peace
Darren

A two smoker? I can't believe it! BTW I'll be at the bike show Sat. 10 to 4.

I said I was thinking about a 2 stroke for offroad.......just thinking.....

I remember the last time I had a 2 stroke 250cc. I found out that I wasn't pinning the throttle. Once I regripped and got the throttle WFO the bike was off it's trajectory and I was down. :jump:

I'm still just thinking. At least I can pin my 'lil thumper sometimes. :D

So anyone know about the clutch pack. I might be able to handle the bigger engine if my Rekluse will fit.

Just checked the Rekluse web site and found different part numbers for the YZ250 and the 250F. Doesn't look hopeful.

I looked on Barnetts site and it lists them as different clutch plates also.

Dennis also told me that the clutch plates are much larger in the YZ250. I guess it's not an option then. Also, the YZ250 wouldn't have the required lights, and coil to make me forestry legal.

By the way, congratulations cladoo ! You are the first person to reach the beginner level

Way to advance..
