This looks cool, KTM built several really nice features into this bike. Amazing they kept the weight within 6 ibs of the SX 50.

Re: KTM SX-E5
It is def a pretty cool bike. I never thought I would say that about an E-Bike but this one has def caught my eye for my kid.
I wounder what battery life in real life situations (ie in the bush) are like.
Hopefully its not like $8k when its comes out, but its KTM so I am not holding my breath haha

Was down hanging out at BF yesterday.
I guess these bad boys are due for Nov release, and there is already a long list of people who have put $1000 down on them.
Going to be popular me thinks

They are in dealers, saw one today at Blackfoot, they look amazing. I am very surprised these are coming in at $5700, only $500 more than the 2 stroke SX50. When you factor in never having too purchase fuel, oils, piston, clutches, crank/rods, air filters, cleaner & oil, etc you get that $500 back quickly and hours less maintenance every month.
If my son was younger and still on 50's I would purchase a second battery with this bike - 4 bolts, so its a quick change.
