Women's Armor Suggestions

Post by twitch13 »

I think I may have finally talked my wife into trying dirt riding and now looking on the market there doesn't seem to be many women's options for body suit armor. She tried on the fox titan which didn't fit great (Little big and had to be cinched up a lot) and doesn't accommodate a neck brace very well and the new Alpinestars Stella did not fit her shoulders very well. Does anyone have any experience on what they or someone they know are using?

Depends what she would want but here's a few...

Pressure suit: alpinestars stella

Chest protector: http://www.leatt.com/shop/body-protecti ... adies.html

Both are fairly comfortable, I had the stella but these days would prefer the chest protector, a few of the ladies on here wear the leatt one and have had positive reviews.

I wear the regular leatt light chest protector now, but the "jacki" would be more comfortable.

Sorry missed your point about the stella, a chest protector might be the way to go for the shoulder, and they accommodate neck braces

Thanks Krissy. When you are wearing the 4.5 jackie do you just wear elbow pads and no shoulder pads?

I just have the regular leatt "light" chest protector.
I don't personally wear elbow pads, however... I recommend wearing them haha.

We have the leatt ( regular mens model not sure of the model name) for Anne. I took a heat gun to it to mold the shape better for her. Naturally it fits her leatt neck brace and she wears seperate elbow pads. No complaints so far after 5 years.
The voices are back. Awesome!
