This is without a doubt the biggest thing to happen to off road motorcycles since the 1998 YZ400F.

Awesome, I bet they're hard to come by...Might have to put some $$ down at Cycleworks

I'm actually leaning the other way, for the cost and weight savings I'd like me the last great carbuerated 300 please!

The tank size shouldn't be a concern, since its likley the FI bike can go farther on less fuel. Its the weight and price, 6+ pounds is crazy. I step ahead 2 steps back. The 196W alternator doesnt make sense on a XC, unless your running a microwave to heat your burritos while you night ride. Hopefully a properly porportioned flywheel and stator will get the weight down on the XC models

I don't have to go back too many years, and these comments are exactly the same as the concerns people had for four stroke bikes. :D

I can't think of a single time I would ever trade my 2017 450 for a 2012 or prior. Keihin FCR? I'd use it as a paper weight

I'm sure they can save 3 or 4 pounds by getting rid of the kick starter  :smirk: :smirk: :smirk: :smirk:
