More detailed pics here. http://enduro21.com/index.php/extreme/2 ... nduro-bike
We will only see the 250 XCW TPI in NA and likely only one per dealer. Husky will have TE 250 and TE 300 TPI bikes in NA.

There is a lot more info out now that it's been officially released. Key points I found:

6.6 lbs heavier (this is comparing the exc models from the UK KTM websites)
$400 GBP more (which equates to $700 CDN)
196W alternator (atleast for the EXC)
Slightly smaller 2.38 gal vs 2.51 gal tank (Uk gallons)

http://www.ktm.com/gb/enduro/300-exc-tpi/
http://www.ktm.com/gb/enduro/300-exc-1/ for the 2017 for comparison

Enduro 21 has a good writeup as well but their site seems to be down.

What I'd like to know is what the actual CDN price increase is, and if all 2019 models will get TPI. If anyone has the info please post away!

This is without a doubt the biggest thing to happen to off road motorcycles since the 1998 YZ400F.

Awesome, I bet they're hard to come by...Might have to put some $$ down at Cycleworks

The tank size shouldn't be a concern, since its likley the FI bike can go farther on less fuel. Its the weight and price, 6+ pounds is crazy. I step ahead 2 steps back. The 196W alternator doesnt make sense on a XC, unless your running a microwave to heat your burritos while you night ride. Hopefully a properly porportioned flywheel and stator will get the weight down on the XC models

I don't have to go back too many years, and these comments are exactly the same as the concerns people had for four stroke bikes. :D

I can't think of a single time I would ever trade my 2017 450 for a 2012 or prior. Keihin FCR? I'd use it as a paper weight

I'm sure they can save 3 or 4 pounds by getting rid of the kick starter  :smirk: :smirk: :smirk: :smirk:
