Which staple gun for seat cover install

Post by Brass »

For those that re-cover their own seats, what do you recommend for a staple gun?

All I have ever used in the past were the spring loaded manual guns. The results were always poor and the limited access from the large square heads always created issues. The plus side was easy access to stainless steel 1/4" T-50 staples.

I tend to use them about 3-4 times per year, so it's about time I get myself a decent one
The voices are back. Awesome!

I have an air powered t50 staple gun that i bought at Home Depot that works awesome. I also use the stainless steel quarter inch long staples.

I used to have to leave seat bases in the sun for an hour to get my hand one to work, but this one will drive staples effortlessly

Awesome. I have a few seats to fix up and this is just what I needed to hear.

Thanks,
Quinn
