I am impressed with my Kenda Milleville II front durability. Also the AT81 front has been good so far.

I found the AT81 rear began to chunk pretty early in it's lifespan. Not the case with the MX52s I'm running now.

I run an MX32 on the front, but when using low pressures it will sometimes tear side knobs. I really like the grip and predictability, but it is not the most durable. I'm tempted to try an MX52 front, but already like what I have.

For the first time in years I'm trying a new front, only because my favorite ones are getting astronomically expensive. I really have no issue paying though, as I can ride, practice and race a full season on 1 front tire, then take it to Moab and get another 500 km out of it. The most durable tire with great and very predictable traction I've run, ever.

I'm always surprised by the amount of people running the M12. It works great, but I do find tire wear (moderate to fast) is very noticeable. I was not a fan, and found the S12XC a better tire. But neither Michelin can keep up to my Bridgestone model that been around for slightly under 100 years.

YMMV
What Bridgestone model do you use? M403?

Anyone noticed a difference in tire wear between bibs and tubes/tubliss?
With the move to bibs I seem to get get less side knob chunking off, anecdotal evidence only tho.

I've been getting a lot of side knobs peeling off and I exclusively use front bibs. I think it's the tire, and how it's used (2T vs 4T etc) more than anything. Perhaps the tires are fresher than usual? :excuse:
