I've got a new pair of Scott 450's.
Anyone have a trick to speeding up the break in period, other than riding a ton? I'm finding them a little stiff.

Wear them around the house, to work and when invited to social events.

"The most fun you can have with your boots on" has been deviously hijacked by many less fun things. THIS is the most fun you can have in boots. AND these are the boots!cerealkiller wrote:Wear them around the house, to work and when invited to social events.
I vote you go riding until they aren't stiff anymore.

Re: Breaking In New Boots?
the new boots have so little leather in them the old school skate/cowboy boot tricks don't work as well. I put mine in the oven on a low temp until they are to hot to hold onto. I then start wearing them around the house with my thickest riding socks. once cooled they should fit great and smell like cookies....

I've heard your cookies are pretty fantastic. I'm sure you bake the cookies first so you have something to eat while you are walking around the house.Dobi wrote:the new boots have so little leather in them the old school skate/cowboy boot tricks don't work as well.
