Which Boots?
Color aside. I have wide feet and have liked my SG10 boots. I have ruled out the Sidi boots as they have a reputation for being narrow.
Time for some new ones. What do you think?

I have wide feet and my old crossfires fit ok, the new ones are supposed to be roomier. Still largely waterproof after 3 years. Food for thought. The bolt on replacement soles are a godsend. But maybe you have hobbit feet.

Re: Which Boots?
I'll probably be the only one recommending the tech 10's. Most hate the booty (get yer mind out of the gutter ) but I like the fact I can wash the insoles properly and keep the gut wrenching stench to a minimal. I am on my third year on them with little wear......they last.
BTW....I have flat feet and they fit nicely without discomfort.

Re: Which Boots?
I have a wide EE foot and haven't been able to fit into Gaerne boots. The best compromise for me was the Sidi Crossfire TA soled boot but even they hurt my feet and after a long ride will leave blood in the toe box. The SRS version was too narrow for me. Alpinestar don’t fit at all. Same with the new Fox Instinct. While I do like the Sidi because every part can be replaced, the TA sole wore out way too fast. I got about 6 months out of the first set of soles.
The Crossfire 2 TA boot is supposed to be a smidge wider but I haven’t tried them on yet. Same for the TCX, I haven’t found a pair in my size to try on.
I did try on a pair of AXO boots at the bike show (A2 model I think) and they fit with good room in the toe box but don’t know who carries them locally.
Sorry, not much help.
Good luck in your search.

Re: Which Boots?
I measured my feet and they are 100mm wide across the front. I'm surprised by the Sidi comments as I thought that they were on the narrow side. Perhaps just the SRS style.
The new Scott 450 boots had a lot of room but I'm unsure about them.

Re: Which Boots?
Go with the SG10s not 12s. The difference is a "supercross shank" which is some sort of carbon fiber rod that will probably not do much for you out in the woods.
Re: Which Boots?
I bought the Sidi crossfire ta's last season and I find them super comfortable and I have extra wide flipper feet also. They have excellent arch support also. Buckles have never come loose ether.

I have been using SG12's for, I think, 4 seasons starting the 5th. Truth be told, I'd buy them again. They've held up well but I don't ride as hard or put in the same kind of hours as some folks here. For me, I liked the comfort of the Sidi boots. They felt like running shoes. But, I preferred the feeling of more protection that the SG12s appeared to have. They look like they can be abused.
Re: Which Boots?
i am on my second pair of tech 10's. i love them, so comfortable. i like the inner booty as they keep my feet dry.

Re: Which Boots?
Depends on the length of your foot . A size 8, that is probably wide but not for a 13.

Re: Which Boots?
Not on the list, but I love my TXC pro 2 and 2.1 boots. By far the pro 2 is the best made boot I have ever owned when it comes to longevity and build quality. My SG12s are a close second in quality but cost way more. Also, the TCX inner boot is really nice for winter riding. Cold feet? Pull out the inner boot, put some 4T exhaust through it for 30 seconds and voila warm feet.
