2014 Husqvarna's
2014 Husqvarna's
Its been confirmed bikes will be white color, I'm guessing with blue & yellow accents. There will be a 300 2T motocross model. They are going after the MX market with 2 & 4 stroke models. The 300 2T will be shown at the MXdN with the rest of the line up shown around the beginning of October. The MX bikes are supposed to look very different than a KTM.
Husky has a 2014 factory 250 & 450 teams for the GP MX series. I heard there would not be a US AMA National MX team, but there might be a Canadian team for the Pro MX National series Who could they possibly get to run/manage that team .......... I wonder if the Alison boys favorite color is white with blue & yellow accents.

I understand that 2T means 2 stroke but where did the T come from?
Re: 2014 Husqvarna's
Not sure, but Husky was developing an all new 300 2T DI motor before BMW sold them, I sure hope that's what will be in the new bike.erniebearskin wrote:So Husky 2 stroke DNA. Or KTM DNA?
Re: 2014 Husqvarna's
I'm exicited to see what coming from the "new" Husqvarna company. This is all positive for people that ride and race on competitive m/c if you ask me. My experience with my little 50 has been great, and I would even consider a 65 next for the little guy.
Of course parts crossover from KTM doesn't hurt......

Re: 2014 Husqvarna's
The current rumour mill is that this year it will be mostly KTM. In two to three years it will be a Husky with shared components. Ask somebody about Berg suspension and how it compares to KTM. Same components, vastly different setups.
Realistically, I think it's possible to have different bikes with shared components. Just because the frames are different doesn't mean that the bearings, swing arms, air filters, reed blocks, etc can't be shared. I have hope that Husky will bring out a bike in the near future that will continue to fit my taller than average self, and it won't bother me a bit if the forks are WP as opposed to KYB. Am I a slave to my domino levers and Magura bars, nope. I do however, like being able to turn the bars full lock and not hitting my knees on them.
Embrace the differences!
