Now that really does not make much sense, new chassis one year saying linkage does not work on 2t, then add linkage the next? If thats the case KTM loses some credibility in my books. I am still holding out for DI

If you look at the picture above, it is clear that the linkage sticks down in a way that can catch on rocks and logs. Something to concider when looking for a bike with linkage for offroad applications.

I've ridden with linkage my whole meager offroading career and never had an issue with catching rocks or logs.

I'm sure it does, just not as big of an issue as some people make it out to be. Definitely wouldn't affect my choice of ride.

I don't have to worry about that Cedric, but now have to worry about scratching the thing. I'm sticking to fire roads from now on...

The new KTM linkage does appear to hang down a bit more than my honda crf. If your worried about it than you should plan to just ride with markvfr on the fire roads. :smirk:

Since its virtually a KTM, I thought I'd post here.

Personal preference but I love the color scheme!

I like the berg colors but it has the old frame so I'd guess it doesn't have linkage. I guess that's why it's not visible in the pic. :D
