Summer is here. Had big plans for racing this year, but a tree and a bodycheck to the ground left me with a broken thumb and grade 2 shoulder separation. Boo!
At least i have laser in my clinic to expedite the healing!!!!
In this newsletter we look at arthritis. In my experience looking at thousands of xrays over my 20 year career, arthritis begins at about age 25 and progresses. One does not just turn old and wake up with arthritis. Posture will affect progression of arthritis and i fear we will start seeing the devastating effects much earlier in the population thanks to the advance of technology. Kids postures are mostly horrendous.
Also we take a brief look at sunscreens.
Ride on...

Re: Spinalguy June Newsletter
Took up hiking this year as my knee issue seems to be doing better (thank you Dr Johnson and multiple PRP injections).
Never thought hiking would be exciting, but there are some technical trails out there.Funny thing is that looking at them, they all look like our single track trails, but laid down by hiking boots. It would be hard to tell the difference.
Actually stumbled down a rock face cropping and broke a carbon fiber pole in half preventing major damage to my head, but left me with a broken finger which i did not know at the time so rode 4 days later when i crashed and did the other damage noted above and found out the finger was fractured too. Who knew hiking could be so tuff? ha.
