Re: 2014 Husqvarna's are coming!
Dean last year you had a little blurb highlighting the differences between 2013 Husaberg's versus their Orange brethren (larger tanks, 4CS forks, billet clamps, composite sub frame etc).
Can you do the same for the new Husky's?
Love the white/yellow.

Good Point Ernie
Well for 2014 essentially the easiest way to explain the Husky's to the KTM's is that it is a XC chassis with a XC-W motor. So essentially a hybrid. The Husky's all now have linkage which is claimed to lower the rear end (compensate for the shorter 4CS forks) and makes the bike easier to lean over in the turns.
Some of the other differences are as follows:
- ignition map switches come standard on all the two-strokes
- Husaberg style plastic in white
- DID Dirt Star rims as opposed to the (sorry to say it) but low grade rims on KTM models (read any magazine or talk to any late model owners, spokes always come loose)
- White powder coated frame
- Skid plates are come standard on enduro models
- I know I am bias but seriously they look so badass in person (I just got back from Cali and had a chance to ride them all)
- Plastic subframe
If you have any questions let me know. Feel free to stop by for a BS session or see the bike we have in the showroom.

Re: 2014 Husqvarna's are coming!
Hey Folks,
Went in to BFD a few weeks back to get some rear brakes for my KTM 300XC and walked out with a deposit on a 2014 Husky TE300! I had the bike sprung for my weight and was able to ride it first time last Sunday and Monday. Wow, awesome! Best bike I have owned for the riding I do (Single Track). I'm a big guy and this bike has a lot of low end to carry me up the steep ones and great suspension to smooth it out. I added the FMF Shorty and the JD Jetting kit, as well as the linkage guard. Now just have to get the bark busters on and the bar risers and I'm fully functional! Woohoo!
Thanks to Dean and Carlos and the other BFD crew for setting me up.
