2008 KTM 300XCWe for sale. Great bike in very good condition. Tires are in good shape, new plastics, chain, sprockets. Front forks just had a fresh oil change done with seals replaced. Engine is completely new from top to bottom. Brand new hot rods crank assembly, new crank bearings and seals, new Pro-X piston and rings. The engine has about 15 hours on it since the rebuild, runs like new. Jetted crisp for southern Alberta mountain riding. Electric start works perfect, fairly new battery is very strong. Wheel bearings are in good shape, new lower shock bearing (heim joint), steering head bearings repacked recently.
Has an FMF SST pipe on it (good mid and top power without sacrificing bottom, not as strong on the bottom as a Gnarly but much stronger mid to top) with an FMF Shorty silencer that was repacked when the motor was rebuilt. Stock pipe (dented but usable) and silencer (looks brand new) are included.
The one flaw with the bike is the odometer cable got snagged on a branch and broke the wire. Easily fixed with a new cable but I have never worried about the odometer or speedometer etc.
Bike has had regular oil and air filter changes and has been meticulously maintained at every stage of its life. Great bike to trail ride or race, needs nothing just jump on it and ride. $4500 obo make me a reasonable offer.
