Thanks Gord. I forgot about the braided front brake hose. Too much stuff on it to remember. Someone will get a good bike.

Hardcore BRP dualsport project. I have no need for a woods-only bike right now. And yes, I love the motor as well.

We'll see. Haven't decided what to get just yet :excuse: . I am waiting for the CRF650X, if the rumors I hear at work at true, it might be 08. XR650R's are done, 06 was the last year. So Honda will have to do something for the big bore market.

Husaberg makes a FE650, and it will be much lighter than anything Honda is going to come out with.

...and much more expensive, harded to get parts for, much more unreliable, more uncomfotable, smaller tank...
hmm, not a great choice for me. Fug, Dave, a 525exc is a better choice than a Berg. :buttkick:

What's so hard about calling up Walt Healy and ordering the parts?

I don't believe the Berg's are considered unreliable anymore Simon. That stopped in '03 when they started making them in the KTM factory. My brother in law just bought a '07 FE650, and I rode it. The bike is not uncomfortable at all, and was under 10 grand.(at Walts) It felt no bigger than my 450. It is actually lighter than my 450. Just my 2 cents. And the Berg has warranty,(2 years I believe) to prove that it is now reliable
I know you would get a good deal on a Honda, since you work for them, so do as you choose.

I can go to almost any shop in town and get bits for my Yamaha. There is only 1 shop that deals in Bergs.

I'm not getting into a pissing match here guys, i'm sure some guys like them but they are not for me.

I bet you that new CRF650X will be an awesome bike too. Will it be designed for like Campbell to do the Baja?
