2009 KTM 250-XCW (Bush Ready - Great Price)

Postby GasCan » Mon Jul 19, 2010 8:51 pm

As much as I really hate to, doctor says recent back injury will put a serious clamp on my dirt biking, and I am therefore contemplating the sale of a 2009 KTM 250 XC-W that I just got ready for the mountains. Bike has 33 hours on it with mint plastics, tires, and sprockets. I just finished the bike by installing the following equipment in the past 8 weeks so here's what is offered with it, or I may strip it down and sell the parts separate from a stock bike;

Mint 2009 KTM w/ Low Hours
Renthal Fat Bars
Renthal Grips
Hand Guards w/ Bark Busters
Front Headlight Kit (switched)
Rear UFO Tailight (switched)
KTM Fork Socks
Scorpion Aluminum Skid Plate
Scorpion Aluminum Rad Guards
Dunlop Decal Kit (front rear fenders)
FMF Gnarly Pipe
FMF TurbineCore II Muffler w/ Spark Arrestor
Moose Engineering Carbon Fiber Pipe Guard
Motul 800 Premix and Case Oil
Twin Air Filters (3)
Stock KTM Front Number Plate
Carb Jetting for 5000' Elevations

The bike is mint and requires nothing at all. Just jump on and ride it, and yes it does have the happy button for quick restarts on the trail. If I do give up riding as suggested, I'll also sell it with the new riding gear I bought this summer which includes new boots (size 10) Fox chest protector, Thor knee braces etc.

Lowered Price - First $6500.00 takes it home and a great price at that!

Does the Doc say you'd be better off with a sport bike over a harley or KTM?

Still have the knee braces? If so, what kind and how much?

My apologies I see that your're looking to sell them with the bike. Let me know otherwise.
Thanks

No Shibby, but he did say that riding a quad would be easier on a back that's prone to injury. It stems from my working for Pepsi for 2 years and blowing out my lower 4x in that period. Getting older is starting to show some wear and I have to be a little easier on it for a while. Riding the Harley isn't good either but driving my 55 Chev is good with the doc. As long as it is healed in time for sledding I'm all good. lol

I'll let you know on the knee braces later Campr.

From riding quads I'm surprised to hear they are better. Those things are back killers too.

That was my thought too. Quads and sleds are murder on my back compared to dirtbikes.

Yup!

My sled kills my back too. Well, I should say the trails do and my 60lb backpack.
