Steamboat/Invermere riding and camping area??

Could use some help finding a good riding and (random) RV camping area in the Radium area. I have never dirt biked or camped out there but have heard lots about it. I will also have kayaks with me so any suggestions regarding that would also be helpful. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Long weekend is approaching quickly!! Thanks in advance. Enzo

I don't know if there is any random camping around there There is a campsite just south of Invemere on the river though.

Thanks for the reply. We wanted to try someplace new but may just head to Kook...looks like a wet weekend there though.

I keep hearing of great riding out there but have never bumped into someone that actually knows where it is.

I've been to steamboat. There is an old race loop there. Some very easy some very hard. Random camping all in that area as well. We found lots of quad trails as well and single track trail heads but ran out of time to explore all of it as we were doing the dunes and paradise mines as well. Can't wait to go back...
