Good pics!! :applause:
Did the loop a couple of years ago and loved every minute!
The heat on the rocks make it very tractable no need for a trials tire.

Can't wait to go back!!

Heat would have been nice. Here is a shot of the parking lot when we pulled in. It was hard to follow the white dots in the morning with all the snow patches leading you astray....

But you did it is the key. Look forward to the video. One day, I'll actually try it myself. Need to get a little more experience under my belt, and probably a lighter bike.

This guy does a nice 7 part 5MOH commentary for those wishing to see every inch of the trail, and claims to be an old guy himself. I won't embed the video, as to not draw away from the craziness to come.

I ran my FE501 Chinese made, KTM knock off and it was fine. there is nothing too overly challenging in there, it just never lets up for a lot longer than 5 miles...

Actually, it's just been confirmed that the Chinese have outsourced these bikes to a manufacturer in Bangladesh. As well, the FE501 will receive a new model designation, MA501, and come in a rusted blue colour scheme to signify it's intended use.

Awesome! Are there going to be eight parts? One for every mile? (allegedly, 5moh is closer to 8 miles). The riding in the second looks not bad at all, I think I could even do it. The scenery in the Temple Mountain area is fantastic!

Good stuff Howard!

We were there a few days before you. Definately glad we went, it was a great ride.

BTW, from the looks of things so far, you are going to need more crash footage/second attempts/swearing/etc. Just let me know and I'll pass mine along to you!
