Feeling a little sad

Post by axel99 »

Logging is progressing very quickly less than 500m from the Warparious Creek staging area\Provincial Park. There were 2 Feller bunchers busy wiping out a portion of the 2012 HareScramble loop. Brush piles are 5' tall. Most of the timber they are stacking is less than 7" in diameter, they must pay nothing for the timber, how else can they make money logging such small timber.

If it was someone else's back yard they would burn the log piles and wreck the equipment.

Mulch... Really? They are cutting down some of the nicest areas in the province to provide mulch. Sad! I thought they were building homes for under priviliged kids.
