well thats no good...... i wish irricana was a for sure deal - i hear so many people still go there saying its open. others say stay away, its closed. does anyone know what the name of the company is that owns that land - i'd like to give them a call and find out for sure.

It really sucks the south play area is gone I think it's going to get harder and harder to ride on private land. Thankfully I was able to buid a track at my house and not have to worry about people telling me where i can and can not ride. Also saves on loading up the truck just so we get out there and the kids dont want to ride after 20 minutes. :banghead: :banghead: , not that we all experinced this once or twice :D

I herd that yo ucan still ride out by Glenifer lake or has that changed at all?

what about the wildrose mx track? i've never been there, and i'd hate to go and just be in peoples way the whole time. i'm not amazing at riding or anything. are there different levels of track, or just the big one?

Wildrose has at least 4 tracks you can use which includes the big one. i heard that they have track time for different levels so you can ride without being nervous on the big track.

is it usually pretty busy on a tuesday or wednesday nite? a friend of mine just started riding bikes, and he's just looking for a place to get some practice.

wildrose has 3 tracks, the main track for experinced riders only( They had to make that rule as too many people were getting hurt) a vet track which is the east track ( On the east side of the park great track for learning, and of course the hill track my favorite by far, not too many jumps but great hills and soft so you can really give'er up those hills.

I'm not too sure if there still running tuesday night mini motos and thursday night motos but if you get there early like 3:00 it's pretty quiet untill after dinner

Here's the web site for wildrose

You're tellin' me! Alot of moto attitude there every time I go. It's not like
I'm dangerously slow or anything, it's just I think these peaCocks feel the need to
fluff their feathers as soon as they see a headlight on the track!

Some jack@%* pulled in on my front wheel yesterday, I can't believe we didn't both go
down. Then he gives me a head jesture like "get off the track"!?! I was ridin the hill
track and flat out flyin. What's that all about?

Yup found the same thing trying to break in my bike on the east track.
When they shut down the pro track because of the injury the east track became deerfoot in rush hour, very dangerous.
I loaded my bike and watched my son on the mini moto track.Mama didn't raise a fool.
These guys don't realize the ground is still frozen.

I hear you man!!! Some jerk did the same thing to me. I'd love to get these idiots into the bush - DEEP into the bush - and then leave them and watch them squirm for fear they will never find thier way out if their riding skills could even get them out! Does this sound like a rant?! :banghead:
