Lynx sighting in McLean

There are a lot of wildlife this year. Last week I saw 4 moose while driving home in the truck.

This week we were fortunate enough to see the elusive lynx. It was on the designated trail named Hoth in McLean Creek and it quickly jumped into the trees and watched us for a bit, before taking off. I've never seen the breed before and I usually only see the cat prints in the snow or soft ground so that was exciting and I can check that species off my siting list.
