Canops and lone ranger.
Canops and lone ranger.
Rode stallion Canops and lone ranger today, everything is actually very dry but we do however have a lot of blowdown at the top of Canops and along lone ranger. I did what I could with my hand saw since people are already heading off trail and tearing up the ground to get around the trees but I could only do so much, the blow down is quite large in spots. The trail is in need of chainsaw work,we could leave some to discourage the quads but then we will lose some of the flow of the trail so it is a catch 22. I know this weekend a lot is going on but if someone with a saw is up for some trail work iam in this weekend.

gdg530, thanks for posting the trail conditions. Pick a day on the weekend and time and I will bring a chainsaw to put some flow back in to the trail. The sooner the better.
Except Sunday!

Re: Canops and lone ranger.
We cut out a couple of trees on the Lone Ranger trail last night. There are still some large ones that need moving.
Same goes for canops

Just want to get an update on these trails, we they cleared on the weekend?
If so, how many volunteers and how many hours of work for our records?
