Thanks guys. Looks like some big stuff down. Ryan, at the intersection where you show the red star, did Spray Lakes top cut the trees along the edge of the trail?

TrialsPaul and I cleared Moonrock yesterday. We also did a bit of re-flagging and clearing of fisher delight after the awesome bridge put down a few years ago and up the hill in the new cutblock. When you pop up on the road after the climb, hang a right on the road, ride the road a bit, then left there is a little dozer area and you can see top cut trees. Ride through this cutblock following the top cut trees and flagging to fisher delight. We cleared 6+ trees on fisher delight up to Ty's ripper. We didn't push through to south fisher, not sure how it looks.

Thanks for doing the rest Alex. Dylan, yes, they left some 6' stumps along the trail through the clear cuts. The trail just west of the star should be re-routed a bit as it zig zags across the new logging road several times, and is kind of awkward.

Next one I'd like to work on is 2nd ridge.

I am glad to see that SLS took our advice to top the trees to help us maintain a trail location.

It seems to work well in BC

I may be missing it, but is there a copy of the McLean Fluz map that has all the names associated with the trails? I always feel like I can't give an appropriate ride report because I don't have the names everyone's using.

I saw a copy of it at the GW Cycle member sale a while back, would be great to get a PDF.

The RMDRA member map has what you are looking for. You should have received one when you joined. They do not get mailed out however, you have to pick up in person at a club event or from one of the executive types.

A group on guided rides cleaned up Johnny Two Skidoos last night (well, it was mostly Brass doing the cuttin' while the rest of us cheered him on :applause: ). Just a few trees were down but all done now, other than one big one that is rideable with a little log for a ramp.

Additionally, there was a clothesline tree on Lone Ranger that we cut and tossed. Well I say we as a group, but really, it was Jacques and Tim mostly...

Ahh wish I woulda known, would have grabbed one a while back. I'll just have to hit a guided ride when I get back.

Otus trail got cleared out last night, some big trees down in several spots due to new cutblock leaving the odd giant Poplar & Spruce tree with no more wind protection from the West & North. We did some other random clearing in the South end.
Thanks to Greg & Wrocks with the chainsaw magic. :canada:
