McLean Trail Status - Stallions
Got a little itchy to try out the Sthil I bought last year. The winter blow down on Stallions is all cleaned up. There was a bit of snow and the ground is saturated by drying out quickly....smooth on the clutch and easy on the gas . I lost count of the bikes and quads that went by driving out. No one else had ridden stallion over the weekend.

Thanks. Were you able to work in any width control points.

Thanks Alex. I appreciate your hard work! Stallions is one of my favourite trails out there. I ride it often.

Trailguy, Most of the blowdown was mid trail and at the north end there is a couple of nice logs acting as a choke point. If you see me doing something that is putting the trails at risk to poaching or have suggestions on better techinque to protect trails, let me know.trailguy wrote:Thanks. I have been trying to leave anything below my rads narrow and anyhing above I cut back a little further, if it just makes the trail a little more challanging but rideable...well I guess you just need to see for yourselves.

Nice work, Axel. I think we reaped the rewards of your hard work last night. I'm pretty sure Stallions was one of the trails we rode.

Just to be clear, I am self centered and very selfish. I really didn't do the trail clearing for you guys. It was for my own personal riding enjoyment. Appreciate the thanks just the same.
