Yeah, it was fun ride.

I was surpised how all 10 of us stayed pretty close together most of the time. No issues with waiting or lost riders.

Thank-you Claude and Andy and Dave for leading the way - that was a VERY fun ride! As well for being able to watch Andy's fantastic skills and a chick who rocked and could teach me a thing or two!! As soon as I get some time (and figure out how to do it) I'll post some pics from the ride.
Cheers y'all

and a special thanks to Claude for being the tour guide/mother hen for the day. Some awesome trails that I hadn't ridden before that I can't wait to get back on.

So there is no snow on Quirk ridge? Or are those pics taken elsewhere?

Thet is the meadow at the top of Quirk Ridge or the start of what most call Swanee's. There was no snow however there was some icy, wet sections up high, not many though. I was surprised at how little snow and wet we encountered. Hope it stays that way for awhile!

When you say back side do you mean riding the singletrack along the top from the North to the South or coming up out of the valley to the west, winding through the trees and then a steep loose scramble up the steep graasy clearing to reach the ridge trail? That climb is challenging for sure. Helps to have a fresh tire and a little moisture in the ground on that one.
