Mclean/Waiparous Conditions for the weekend

Post by Tronneroi »

Hey folks, has anyone been out to Mclean or Waiparous recently? I know the club night was cancelled because of the sludge weather we had last weekend, but how is it looking out there right now? I know it'll be greasy but I'm more curious about the amount of snow on the trails etc. I was hoping to go to Mclean tomorrow, but if it's too nasty then I might try Waiparous. Thoughts?

I was out for a drive there today and there isn't a lot of snow, but the low lying areas are very wet.

Thanks for the heads up, planning on going for a rip today after work. A buddy of mine was out riding with his wife on the weekend and said the trails were good.

Elevation on the Fisher South end still had snow on Saturday. I'll take a stab that Swany's ridge is the same considering the main ascent is North facing? Everything I rode on the east side of the Mclean road was great. We tried to stay well away from the wet low lands.
