Mclean Grizzly Trail

Post by Regi300 »

Do any of you fine folks know the skinny on the log blockade that was added to the grizzly trail? It was located maybe 300m from the trail sign, it's that steep gradient that intersects the trial and leads to that fast meadow trail that runs parallel to Griz. Anyways... one weekend it's there, the next weekend it's not and there has been two cycles of this. Was the section blocked off by the clud or CO's?

The Grizzly trail is not supposed to go straight up the hill. It is not sustainable. Please ride the trail with the climbing turns that goes to the North of that line and help promote that line to your riding buddies.

To All: McLean is the only real legal single-track trail system in Alberta right now so please ride with respect and stay on the trail without (re-) opening additional lines. Our volunteer trail workers would like to work on projects to improve the area instead of continually working to close illegal lines.
