Good ride for new rider?

Hey all,
Planning on taking my brother out on his first ride this weekend and wondering if there are some easy/intermediate trails in good shape out there? We're thinking Porkies from the Beaver Creek stage as I expect McLean will be a mud pit and I don't want to cut ruts.
Thoughts?
If anyone has some good GPS tracks for Porkies we haven't ridden a lot down there so would love to get our hands on some trail/direction.
