Area's closing?

Post by Altaredneck »

My cousin was out riding whispering pines today. He said the CO's are out in full force shutting everything down that isn't on there outdated maps calling it all illegal trails. They even tried giving them (I can't type without swearing. The word that I used is one of GC's 7 words that you can not say on television.) for using the waiprious creek staging area.

Whispering pines single-track is illegal trail. Ride at your own risk

Yep, no legal single track in Whispering pines/Waiprous creek staging area. Stay on the legal Quad and truck trails. I recall some controversy over who has duristiction over the staging in the past, so you may be challenged by the authorites when staging in the area.

It's a formal staging area, so they can't say anything about that.

The problem is likely they know an uncommonly high staging of bikes there, with no legal single track. Doesn't take much to do the math and see they are riding the single track.
