muskeg creek trail

Post by Mbot »

Does anyone know if the "muskeg creek" single track is still rideable? I tried to find it the other day following the map and dropping down off of "barwell mountain" but there was so much logging I couldn't find it. Does anyone know if it's there or has it been logged?

thanks
Melissa

There was not much room down there when the trail was GPSed, If they are logging in there then I would guess that a logging road has taken over the trail. I haven't been over there to see the logging.

We rode it a little over a month ago and it was still there and not logged out. Its pretty pounded out by cows/horses until you get into the meadowy sections. Its more of a choose your own adventure type trail now.

It's definitely doable. The washouts seem non existant. The hill should be considered "expert only" going up.
