I am in Victoria and will be going riding Sun. with TonyD, a friend that lives here. I will have a report and pics when I get back. Should be wet its pouring right now but supposed to be sunny on Sun.
Well I got back late last night (11pm) from Victoria. Went riding on Easter Sunday with TonyD and a couple of the locals. One guy, Jeremy, on a GasGas 300 led us through a great ride. It was very wet as it had rained lots proir to Sunday. Sunday was partly sunny and 12C which made for good riding. The trails did not seem foreign, kind of a mix of Maclean and Porky's without the big climbs. There were some nasty, rooty sections ( one that almost did me in) and lots of smooth round river type rocks. A good portion of the trail was a running stream becuse of the previous rain, kept the bike clean. Pics will have to wait as I used a disposable camera and its not full yet. Nice ride but a long trip for a short visit.
