Conditions at Ghost

Post by Fenel854 »

Hello,

Anyone have a report on the Ghost area? I'm going riding Easter Friday and I'd prefer to avoid the Koocanusa drive for a day-trip. Even if the single track is too wet or snowy I would ride quad/truck trails just for the exercise. Thanks
Ron

I was there yesterday and there is still a lot of snow and ice. If you thinking of going on rubber you won't get very far. I was even tough with studs in spots because the snow is deep, soft and sticky.

Wheel deep drifts can still be found, anything in the shade is still under snow/ice.
Yesterday, watched three rubber only riders rip around S Ghost staging, then attempt the climb west, should have had some Benny Hill music to score it.
Not that my bike doesnt lay down for a rest regularly.
