Am I riding in an approved area?
Am I riding in an approved area?
Hey guys, I got a seasonal site this year at Fallen Timber and have been riding\learning my bike not far from the upper loop campground. I'm a shite rider and I try to keep things easy as possible, so I've been riding just outside the campground on the flat area and small hills beside the river. West of the campground and south of the main road bridge. Sometimes I go under the bridge too and ride around on the flat part over by the obstacle logs. It's not really trails, and I know riders are supposed to stay on trails. Am I breaking rules by being on the flat grass?

While not a "trail" persay, that's generally considered a staging area, so I doubt you'd get any hassle from SRD. Altho you will obviously need your registration and insurance and forestry legal equipment in place, as they are always looking for "revenue".
