April 12 Ride Report at Kookanosa

Post by rocky mountain racer »

Went and checked out Kook today and can you say dusty. Even the north end has a few patches of snow followed by extremely dusty sections. Plan on going there next weekend for a camping trip. Long range forecast is calling for some rain and snow. It needs it bad. :crybaby:

Staged off Dorr Rd, Friday April 19th. Single track was all clear. Very Dusty. Got stopped twice and got warnings about riding out of bounds. All single track in the whole area is shutdown. Those riding in the area will be subject to a $600 fine. Was told that it is ok to ride the roads, how boring would that be.

that's not true, spoke with ministry on Sat at Kook. They want you to stay off the grassland, but existing singletrack trails are still open
